Help the National Science Foundation with ur Pc@Home

Help fight #AIDS , #Cancer , #StopCO² check @WCGrid World Community Grid its safe and free anyone can !HELP!

I´m Sure somebody of you heard about SETI   http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/

What is SETI@home?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SETI@home

"SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data."

To use SETI u need a program called "BOINC lets you contribute computing power on your home PC to projects doing research in many scientific areas"

If you don´t wanna search for Aliens u can help fight childhood cancer !
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/research/hfcc/overview.do

Mission:
"The mission of the Help Fight Childhood Cancer project is to find drugs that can disable three particular proteins associated with neuroblastoma, one of the most frequently occurring solid tumors in children. Identifying these drugs could potentially make the disease much more curable when combined with chemotherapy treatment."

Many peoples will think Seti is a waste of time, i agree with that I´m not using Seti i start with Seti in my Blog cause I was sure someone of you already heard about it, I know the Universe is that BIG there must be other species but if we get a signal from we have nothing of that, the problems are on Earth not light years away ;)

Myself is promoting World Community Grid on Twitter @wcgrid , I use WCG to find a medicine for HIV/Aids or Cancer u also can search for CO² neutral incentives.

I write that because that's an easy way to help scientists only by running the pc while you use twitter , write rp`s, chating with other people or watching Youtube and so on!!

The super power computers don´t have enough power to calculate all the data´s comes from science, for example "As of June 28, 2009 the SETI@home project has over 180,000 active participants volunteering a total of over 290,000 computers. These computers give SETI@home an average computational power of 617 teraFLOPS, [8] making it more powerful than the fourth most powerful computer in the world. Radio source SHGb02+14a is the most interesting signal analyzed to date", so think about that ;)

BOINC http://boinc.berkeley.edu/

National Science Foundation http://nsf.gov/

There's no need to be afraid, because BOINC is an official Project, and several universities around the globe are supporting it.

If all Computer Users would use their computers for projects like FightAIDS@home http://fightaidsathome.scripps.edu/ maybe AIDS could be healed already. Think about that !!!!!

I dreamed about it, I have a mission to make the world better, to help, not only have fun at computer games or going to pub and lost time by have fun!!!

Think about the science u don´t must renounce to have fun.

You only must run BOINC on your computer, if u don´t care the computer run while you are in a pub let it work on Boinc at that time.

Twitter is a nice site for me to promote BOINC if Barak Obama would retweet me the whole World would see it ;)
